Whaea Tyla

Kia ora, my name is Tyla Oliver and I am lucky enough to be working with the tamariki in Room 8.

I grew up in Rotorua however I moved to Tauranga with my partner at the start of 2020 to study at the University of Waikato’s Tauranga Campus. In my spare time I love to go for walks, spend time with my friends and family, eat good food, and travel.

Teaching is my passion and I feel so grateful to be beginning my teaching career at Western Heights Primary School! I look forward to providing tamariki with exciting learning opportunities and cannot wait to support your children to achieve their goals.
